Dave Aranda takes his "smart aggression" defense to LSU

Over at SB Nation I broke down how Aranda's defense will fit at LSU. He's inheriting some excellent players and this is probably going to go very, very well for the Tigers.

    Jamal Adams = Michael Caputo 2.0?

    Other concern is LSU's current lack of depth a linebacker. Aranda would have had a lot of fun with Erik Fowler.

      Jamal Adams is a better version of Caputo, who was of course himself a very fine player.

      I'm relieved LSU didn't sign Fowler for that reason and because he ended up with my Longhorns instead. Aranda will be fine though, Beckwith will kill in this defense.
